Cuisine: Pizza,Organic

There’s something truly joyous about sitting down to food and wine that you know comes to you without chemicals or cruelty and has been prepared with love — for the planet, the animals, the farmers and those who share a passion for clean, flavoursome food. Agape means “love” and  we loved an entree of grilled haloumi, vine leaves, beetroot & olive salad $13.50, followed by slow-braised Gundooee grass-fed wagyu beef, honey-roasted carrots, spiced carrot puree,  quinoa and truffle butter $34, finishing on upside-down apple and spelt cake, cinnamon icecream and butterscotch sauce $16. Certified by the Organic Food Chain, quietly elegant Agape  supports farmers by using biodynamic, organic, sustainable and natural produce in its tapas, spelt pizza, mains and desserts. A great organic/biodynamic winelist, too. Look out for the themed monthly love feasts.
