November’s a buyer’s market for oysters with an abundance of varieties available in good condition.  The Terrace Restaurant and Bar in Cronulla offers them in many ways including ‘Tokyo’ dressed with soy and wasabi or ‘Tony Tan’ with lime leaves, ginger, chilli, coriander and lemongrass syrup. Tuna’s up in price thanks to our falling dollar which makes exporting the local stuff even more attractive. Never mind, you’ll still find good yellowfin as carpaccio at Pendolino in the city with micro salad leaves and capers – it’s a fine entrée.
