Mod-Asian fusion restaurant and bar Longrain is branching into trivia territory with a Monday-night trivia evening aimed at foodies, wine aficionados and fans of executive chef Martin Boetz’s creative cooking. The pub trivia-style night steps it up a level with food and wine tastings, live music, quiz questions and gorgeous bar snacks, including possibly the best silken tofu in town. A small bowl of curry, which changes each week, will set you back just $8. Plus, there are prizes to be won: knowing your merlot from your Shiraz could score you a free dinner.
